The Lodge

The Lodge is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to four people with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder, or physical disabilities. At inspection, four people were living at the service. Staff promoted people's independence and supported them to make choices about how they wanted to live their lives and achieve their goals. People had choice over their living environment and could personalise their rooms to reflect their interests. Medicines were managed safely, and people were enabled to access specialist health and social care support to maintain their well-being.

Care and support records reflected individual needs and promoted well-being. Staff provided kind and considerate care that respected people's dignity and privacy. The home employed skilled and knowledgeable staff able to meet people's needs and keep them safe. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approaches possible and acting in people's best interests.
