The Laurels

The Laurels provides residential care and personal care to up to 11 older people, some of whom live with dementia. At inspection, there were 10 people using the service. Staff numbers were adequate and knowledgeable about the people they supported, with the right skills and experience to deliver effective care. People told inspectors they felt safe receiving the service.

The home had policies and systems in place to protect people from harm and abuse. Risks had been identified for both residents and staff, and medicines were administered following best practice standards.
