Sancroft Community Care Limited- Sancroft Hall

Sancroft Hall provides accommodation and personal care for up to 62 older people, some living with dementia, across six units within the home. Two units specifically accommodate older people of South Asian origin. At inspection, 56 people were living at the home.

The home demonstrated strong infection control practices, requiring all visitors and staff to wash hands, undergo temperature checks, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment including face masks, gloves and aprons. Visitors were required to take COVID-19 lateral flow tests before entering. During the pandemic lockdown period, the home supported relatives visiting family members receiving end of life care, arranging all visits by appointment to allow thorough cleaning between visitors. Staff provided laptop computers and tablets to enable people to maintain contact with friends and family when isolating.
