The Lakes

The Lakes provides residential care for up to 47 younger and older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 44 people were receiving care at the home.

Staff were safely recruited and received sufficient training to understand their roles and meet people's individual needs. People were protected from potential abuse, with staff understanding the policies and procedures for reporting concerns. Risk assessments were in place and contained relevant strategies to mitigate known risks to residents.

People received their medicines as prescribed, with records kept up to date to evidence medicines administration.
