The Heathers

The Heather's is a specialist residential service providing accommodation and personal care for up to 34 people with alcohol and substance misuse support needs, including respite provision. The adapted building features double bedrooms with ensuite facilities. During inspection, 27 people were using the service.

The home maintains high standards of cleanliness with effective infection prevention and control measures in place. The provider has completed refurbishment work in some areas with plans for further development. Staff numbers are sufficient, and team members receive appropriate training to support residents effectively. People's individual risks are assessed and care plans are developed to support them according to their preferences.
