The Grove Care Centre

The Grove Care Centre is a residential home providing support to older people, some living with dementia. The CQC rated the home Good overall. Inspectors found enough skilled staff, effective risk management and clean, well-maintained facilities, though gaps in staff employment histories had not been fully explored and some environmental risks had not always been identified.

Inspectors observed kind, respectful interactions and people generally had choice and control, but some choices were not always respected and support was not always timely, causing distress. Relatives spoke positively about safety and care, and the management team was visible, responsive to feedback and committed to ongoing improvement.
