About The Gables
The Gables accommodates up to 43 people requiring residential care and personal care, with 31 residents at the time of inspection. Staff regularly tested residents and visitors for COVID-19 following government guidelines, using rapid lateral flow tests to screen visiting relatives and friends before they entered the home. The service scheduled visitors at times that suited residents and spaced appointments to minimise potential transmission risks.
