The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 8 people with a learning disability and autistic people. Seven people were living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding staff had a strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and the Mental Capacity Act, with support plans reflecting people's preferences and goals.

Inspectors found previous concerns about safe care had been addressed, and infection prevention had improved significantly, supported by a visibly clean environment. Some issues with maintenance tracking remained. Relatives told inspectors they felt confident their loved ones were safe and well cared for.
