The Croft Nursing Home (Barrow)

This nursing home accommodates up to 46 people with physical and learning disabilities across the main building, three bungalows, and a semi-detached house on its grounds. The service implemented robust infection control measures, including temperature checks for visitors and requiring evidence of negative COVID-19 tests. Staff were trained in infection prevention and control, used appropriate personal protective equipment stored securely throughout the service, and the registered manager kept the team informed of government guidance updates. People were actively supported to maintain important relationships with visitors, in line with care home visiting guidance.
