About The Crescent

The Crescent is a small, homely care home based in Telford and Wrekin, offering a calm and familiar setting for those who call it home. With just a handful of residents, there is a real sense of community here, where staff have the opportunity to build genuine, meaningful relationships with the people they support. Families looking for a more personal, close-knit environment may find The Crescent a comforting option to explore.

The Crescent is a residential care home providing personal care to four people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

During inspection, concerns were identified with the management of medicines. Systems had failed to ensure accurate medicines information was contained in people's medicines records, though there was no evidence that people were harmed as a result. Additionally, the location's fire risk assessments did not include environmental recommendations or preventative changes that had been advised by the Fire and Rescue Service report.

Staff training was also not always completed within required timescales to ensure all staff possessed the necessary qualifications.
