The Crescent Care Home Limited

The Crescent provides personal care for up to six people with a learning disability in an adapted residential building with an enclosed garden in Hartlepool. At inspection, four people were living at the service. Staff supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible, with policies and systems in place to ensure person-centred, safe care. Residents' passions and interests were supported through a wide range of activities both inside the home and in the community, and all staff promoted independence within the environment. People and relatives were involved in every stage of care planning, with systems and records ensuring safe support with medicines and infection prevention control practices following current guidance.

Residents and their relatives were very positive about the care provided, describing it as kind and compassionate in a safe, homely environment.
