Staff demonstrated genuine kindness and caring in their daily interactions with residents. The team knew residents well and effectively used reassurance techniques when residents became distressed. However, auditing processes lacked the robustness and detail necessary for the service to systematically identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent standards across the home.
