The Bungalow

The Bungalow provides personal care and accommodation for up to seven people with a learning disability, autism and/or a physical disability. The CQC found the service was performing well, rated Good overall, with people protected from abuse and risks properly assessed and managed. Staffing levels were sufficient and staff were safely recruited and trained.

Inspectors found people were supported to make choices, maintain independence and take part in activities within and outside the home. The service reflected the principles of right support, right care, right culture. Relatives spoke positively, describing staff as professional, caring and welcoming, and the home as "like a home from home.
