Rosewood Lodge

Rosewood Lodge provides personal care for up to 19 people aged 65 and over, some with dementia, in a two-floor adapted building with en-suite bathrooms. At inspection, 17 people were living there. Residents felt safe and happy, with regular reviews of their risk assessments and care plans to ensure their needs were met. The home maintained a safe, clean environment with suitable equipment and facilities.

Staff were appropriately checked and trained to work effectively with residents. Feedback from people, relatives and professionals confirmed staff were kind and caring in their approach. Medicines were properly administered, recorded and audited. Residents received support to access healthcare as needed, and the home provided fresh, nutritious food. Both residents and relatives reported that staff offered a varied programme of activities.
