About The Beeches

The Beeches is a residential care home in Nottinghamshire, providing personal care for older people, many of whom live with dementia. Further detail on the CQC's most recent findings is set out below.

The Beeches provides personal care for up to 26 older people aged 65 and over, many living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 22 people lived at the home. However, the aged building posed infection control risks, with dirty and stained carpets, chipped skirting boards, and peeling or water-damaged paint in some areas that could not be cleaned effectively.

Water testing temperatures were inconsistent and did not meet the provider's own policy or health and safety guidelines in some bedrooms.

The home identified and managed individual risks for residents and followed safe recruitment processes to ensure staff were suitable to work with vulnerable people. Safeguarding measures were in place to protect people from avoidable harm.
