The Barn and Coach provides personal care to 14 people aged 65 and over in an adapted building. Residents reported feeling happy and safe, with one person praising staff willingness to help. Relatives were equally complimentary, with one expressing strong confidence in the registered manager's capabilities.
Staff demonstrated a caring, person-centred approach, prioritising residents' wellbeing and independence while supporting maximum choice and control. The service maintained a small, friendly atmosphere that residents and relatives described as homely and family-oriented, with one relative noting the focus on quality care over appearances. Nutrition and hydration needs were well catered for, with residents praising the food.
Systems were in place to monitor safety through regular audits.
