Satash Community Care Project Limited

Satash Community Care Project provides accommodation and personal care to up to 8 people with learning disabilities and autism. At inspection, 7 people were using the service. The home offers a safe, homely environment with well-equipped bedrooms that residents have adapted to their preferences. Staff support people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, promoting independence and enabling them to make decisions in the least restrictive way possible.

However, inspectors identified significant concerns with the provider's oversight and governance systems. Poor recruitment practices and lack of adequate provider oversight meant improvements were needed to ensure people received consistently safe care. While the service demonstrated positive principles in supporting residents' choices and meeting their physical and sensory needs, strengthening the systems and processes that underpin safe care delivery was essential.
