Gallimore Lodge is a care home registered to support up to eight people with a learning disability who need personal care, with ground floor accommodation and easy access to a garden and the local community. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding a well-led home where the registered manager monitored safety effectively and staff felt confident raising concerns.
Inspectors found staff knew people well, understood safeguarding, and supported medicines safely with appropriate skills. There were enough staff, well supported through induction, training and supervision. Relatives and professionals described staff as kind, with people appearing comfortable, relaxed and safe.
