Milverton Nursing Home

The CQC rated the home requires improvement overall, with breaches found in safe care and treatment and in governance. Medicines were not always managed safely, risk assessments were incomplete, and management systems had not always identified or addressed problems promptly.

Inspectors found staffing levels were maintained and staff were well trained and supported. People and relatives gave largely positive feedback about kindness and care, though some felt the management team was not always accessible, and some staff turnover had affected openness. The provider has been asked for an action plan to address the concerns raised.
