Teignbridge House Care Home Limited

Teignbridge House provides personal care to up to 24 people, including those on intermediate care stays. At the time of inspection, 20 people were using the service.

Inspectors identified ongoing concerns about how risks are managed. Monitoring of pressure area care, bowel function and weight was not always effective, and people's food and fluid intake wasn't adequately tracked. Staff lacked sufficient information about managing individual health risks for some people. While staff communicated about people's health at daily handovers, this communication process had gaps that affected the consistency of care delivery.
