Sycamore Lodge

Sycamore Lodge provides nursing care for up to 77 older people across five units, currently supporting 62 residents. The home cares for people at the end of their lives and those living with dementia. While medicines were generally managed safely, inspectors identified some practice issues requiring improvement, along with safe environment concerns. The registered manager addressed these promptly, maintaining people's safety.

Staff levels were sufficient to keep people safe, and team members had received training on recognising and reporting safeguarding concerns.
