Sway Place

Sway Place is a care home supporting 65 people, including those living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, following concerns about safeguarding and allegations of neglect. Inspectors found a breach in good governance, as systems to monitor and improve quality and safety were not always effective.

Despite this, the CQC found people were treated with kindness and their privacy and dignity respected. Staff felt valued and supported, and people and relatives praised the manager as approachable and a positive influence, saying standards had improved under their leadership. The provider has been asked for an action plan to address the concerns raised.
