Deerhurst

Deerhurst is a small residential care home providing accommodation and care for up to three people with learning disabilities and autism. Located in a quiet residential area, the home features a lounge, conservatory, kitchen, dining room and large garden, with bedrooms on the first floor accessible by stairs. At inspection, three people were living at the home.

Residents received person-centred support tailored to their wishes and preferences. Support plans were detailed and current, demonstrating that people were actively involved in decisions about their care and chosen activities. Staff regularly sought residents' ideas for activities and followed up to check whether people had enjoyed them.
