South Lodge accommodates up to 33 residents and is overseen by volunteer trustees. At inspection, 32 people were living at the service. Residents have a good experience and are encouraged to participate in how the service operates, including expressing views on food and menu choices. Staff are skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable, though residents noted they sometimes appear rushed during certain periods. The home fully promotes people's safety and ensures their health and care needs are met through detailed care planning developed with each individual. All aspects of the service are regularly reviewed to maintain quality standards.
