Sunlight House is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 4 people with learning disabilities and mild mental health needs. The home is located on a residential street and offers individual bedrooms, some with ensuite facilities, plus communal spaces. At inspection, 3 people were using the service.

The home supports people to have maximum choice, control and independence in their daily lives. Staff enable residents to pursue their interests and support them to take part in activities within their local area. The service demonstrated how it was meeting core principles around supporting people's independence and wellbeing.

Some of the provider's systems for staff and resident meetings operated informally, and the service was recommended to formalise these arrangements.
