Sundial Lodge Care Home

Sundial Lodge accommodates up to 48 older people in individual flats with private bedrooms, lounges, kitchens and bathrooms, though meals are available from the home's kitchen. The service is spread across several floors and separate mews cottages, with outdoor patio and lawn spaces for residents. At inspection, 36 people were living at the service.

The home has established safety systems and processes to safeguard people from abuse. Residents reported feeling secure, with one commenting "I couldn't feel safer, it's all so good" and another noting "staff come and check on me regularly." All people's needs are assessed before admission, with risk assessments and care plans developed once they move in. Health and safety checks including fire safety procedures are in place, and infection prevention and control measures are being effectively implemented.
