The following is CQC's published account of its assessment, published 31 October 2025. References to “we” mean CQC. It describes findings at that time.

We carried out this inspection on the 09 July and 10 July 2025. We carried out a focused inspection in 2024 and found breaches of regulation. Because the last inspection was focused and the service was newly registered, the service was not rated. This assessment was a comprehensive and covered all the 5 key questions. Following this assessment the key questions have been rated good as well as the overall service. The service is a nursing home registered to provide accommodation and personal to care for adults over 65 years and those living with Dementia. Systems to review and monitor medicines were effective and medicines were administered safely. Staff worked flexibly to support people and helped to maintain their health and wellbeing. Staff supported people to make choices and decisions about their care and remain as independent as possible. Staff were kind and caring and treated people with respect and dignity. However, we found the provider’s systems were not always effective in ensuring people received safe care and treatment. The provider had systems in place to assess people’s needs and develop care plans; however important updates were not always implemented and the provider’s systems for recording repositioning were not always effective. There were enough safely recruited staff to support people, and they had received training and were supported in their role, however some staff were identified as working shift patterns which could lead to staff burn-out. Staff worked with other agencies to support people and understood how to safeguard people from abuse; however, several concerns had been reported to partner agencies and CQC prior to the inspection. We did note significant improvements had been made and the provider was no longer in breach of the legal regulations relating to safe care and treatment, governance systems and fit and proper persons employed.
