Stoneygate Ashlands

Stoneygate Ashlands is a residential care home in Leicester providing care for up to 37 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, 27 people were being supported. The CQC rated the service Good overall, an improvement from its previous requires improvement rating.

Inspectors found staff were kind, safely recruited and well trained, with medicines, accidents and the environment managed safely. Some minor shortfalls remained in quality assurance processes and activity provision for people cared for in their rooms, but managers were open about these and had begun addressing them. Families spoke positively about staff and management.
