Station House

Station House provides residential care for up to six people under 65 with learning disabilities, sensory impairments and mental health conditions. At inspection, five people were using the service. The home operates from one adapted building and supports residents to personalise their living spaces and pursue their interests. Staff work with residents to identify their hopes, dreams and choices, supporting both short and long-term goals and encouraging active participation in community activities.

Residents receive care from sufficient staff numbers who know them well and are friendly and caring. The service supports people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff working in the least restrictive way possible and in residents' best interests. Staff have received safeguarding training and understand how to report concerns and protect people from harm. The home maintains a relaxed, homely environment where residents feel respected and supported.
