Carden Bank is a rest home providing personal care for up to 15 older people living with dementia and/or physical disabilities. At the time of inspection, 14 people were resident at the home. Staff understood safeguarding procedures and recognised when people might be at risk of harm.

There were enough staff available to support people when needed, and residents received safe care.

The registered manager supported and listened to staff, ensuring they notified inspectors of significant events in line with requirements. People and their relatives spoke positively about the home. Systems were in place to monitor quality, though improvements were needed to ensure all issues were identified and addressed promptly.
