St Stephen's Care Home

St Stephen's Care Home accommodates up to 51 younger adults and older people, including those with dementia, providing residential care and personal care in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, 25 people were using the service.

Risks to people were not consistently reduced due to inadequate management of medicines and risk assessments. The home had identified areas requiring improvements, such as premises modifications, but these had not always been promptly addressed. Staff guidance on safely assisting people was inconsistent across the service. Despite these concerns, people and relatives reported recent improvements at the home.
