The Willows Care Home

The Willows Care Home provides personal care for up to 17 people over 65, including those living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. At the time of the assessment, 10 people were using the service. The CQC found the home now rated Good overall, an improvement from a previous requires improvement rating, with safeguarding, risk management and personalised care working well.

Inspectors found staff supportive and people involved in planning their own care, with good access to outside health agencies. Staffing levels were adequate but some relatives felt more staff would improve observation and safety. Quality monitoring systems were in place, and management was described as visible and responsive to feedback.
