St Margarets

St Margaret's is a residential care home providing nursing and personal care to 43 people, with capacity for up to 56 residents, some of whom may be living with dementia. All facilities and accommodation are located on the ground floor.

Staff support people to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible, acting in their best interests. The home has implemented a more effective quality assurance system with improvements made to the standard of care and consent records. Systems are in place to investigate accidents and incidents, though inspectors found that records and staff practice did not always evidence what was learnt from these events. A recommendation was made regarding the safety of clinical equipment.
