St Lauras is a purpose-built residential care home spread across three floors, providing accommodation for older people with a fourth floor housing shared facilities including a kitchen, laundry, staff room and cinema room.

Following a recent outbreak, the registered manager completed a root cause analysis and implemented learning to better manage risks in future outbreaks. Staff have received training in infection prevention and control procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment. The home is supported by external health specialists to strengthen these practices.
