Staff were found to be caring, attentive and skilled, with good continuity of care and strong links to GPs and hospitals. Care planning was mostly person-centred, though newer residents needed fuller records, and access to activities was not yet equal for everyone. Relatives expressed confidence in the standard of care provided.
