ST ELIZABETH

St Elizabeth is a care home providing personal care, including to people living with dementia. It remains rated inadequate and is in special measures, with enforcement action taken against the provider. A focused inspection, prompted by safety concerns, found the home still in breach of regulations on safeguarding and safe care and treatment.

The CQC found significant shortfalls in personal care, including neglect of nail and oral hygiene. Inspectors observed people going without food and drink for long periods, needing to request meals for two residents during the visit. Improvement is required across all areas assessed.
