St. Cecilia's Nursing Home

St. Cecilia's Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to 35 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 44 residents. The home had previously designated a five-bedded setting for COVID-19 positive people, but this setting did not meet infection prevention and control standards when used separately. The provider has discontinued use of this area as a designated COVID-19 setting following CQC feedback.

Staff followed government guidance on use of personal protective equipment, and the environment was maintained as clean and hygienic with no COVID-19 outbreak occurring. Care plans and risk assessments were in place for all residents' support needs and were reviewed regularly to reflect their health conditions.
