St Anne's Court

St Anne's Court provides residential care for up to 26 older adults. The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall, finding that risks were not always properly assessed, medicines and equipment were not consistently managed safely, recruitment checks were inconsistent, and mental capacity assessments were not always carried out correctly. Governance systems had not identified these shortfalls, and two breaches of regulation were found.

Despite this, people and relatives said they felt safe and well cared for, describing the home as a family. Staff were kind, respectful and knew people well, encouraging independence and choice. Staffing levels, cleanliness and links with health professionals were also found to be good.
