St Albans Nursing Home accommodates 34 people across two floors in Knott End on Sea, with a passenger lift providing access between levels. The home is conveniently located near a bus route, shops and local facilities. At inspection, 32 residents were living there.

The building was kept clean and tidy with maintenance checks in place and up to date. Recruitment procedures were robust, with a recently employed staff member noting, "A really good induction period and all checks were done before starting work. " Staffing levels were sufficient to meet residents' care needs.

Safeguarding training was mandatory for all staff, who demonstrated awareness of processes to keep people safe, and risk management procedures were established.
