South Park Care Home

South Park Care Home provides nursing and personal care to up to 80 people across two specialist units, one for nursing care and another for people living with dementia. At inspection, 63 people were using the service. The home was clean and welcoming, with medicines managed well and regular risk assessments in place. Staff were safely recruited, appropriately trained, and received ongoing management support.

People living at the home were happy and safe. Staff were described as kind and caring, with residents reporting they were always available to support their needs. Care plans clearly documented people's diverse needs, and staff demonstrated good knowledge of individuals. The service supported people to have maximum choice and control of their lives, treating them with respect and dignity while supporting their independence through the least restrictive practices possible.
