The service maintains strong infection control practices to protect residents and staff. Visitors are required to sign in and complete a health questionnaire before entering, with those showing symptoms of illness asked to follow government self-isolation guidelines. The service has access to Covid-19 testing kits and conducts regular testing of all staff and residents, including agency workers. To further reduce infection risks through workforce transmission, the service works with consistent agency staff members who receive regular shifts, building continuity and familiarity within the care team.
