Silver Birch Care Home is a purpose-built care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 75 older people, some living with dementia across three floors. At inspection, 20 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that systems to monitor quality and safety were not sufficiently robust and had not independently identified inconsistencies in confidentiality, fire safety evacuation records, and medicine auditing. The provider took swift action to address these concerns. Risks to individuals were appropriately assessed and managed, and medicines were handled safely, though improvements need to be fully embedded to support the home's continued development.
