Park View Care Home

Park View Care Home is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 61 people across three floors. At inspection, 50 older people were using the service. While systems exist to assess and manage risks, they do not always work effectively and lack regular review. Environmental risks from refurbishment and building works had not been properly identified or addressed. Care plan and risk management plans were not consistently followed, with gaps found in repositioning records, food and fluid charts, and strategies to guide staff on risk reduction. The provider's quality assurance system had not identified these shortfalls.

People using the service described staff as kind and friendly, saying they knew them well and felt well supported. Staff receive induction training when starting at the home. However, feedback on staff availability was mixed, with concerns raised about staffing levels.
