Santa Care

Santa Care is a care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to four adults with a learning disability and/or mental health needs. The CQC rated the home Good overall, an improvement from its previous requires improvement rating. Staff managed medicines safely, understood safeguarding, and worked well with health professionals, while care plans were personalised and regularly reviewed.

Inspectors found some issues, including cleaning shortfalls in the bathroom and laundry, unsecured cleaning products, a trip hazard, unlabelled food, and one medicine stored incorrectly. These were addressed after the assessment. People living there described staff as caring and felt respected, listened to, and involved in decisions about their care.
