Mountview provides personal care and accommodation for up to 10 people with mental health needs in a converted residential property with 10 single rooms and communal areas. At inspection, all 10 available places were occupied. Staff support residents to maintain their independence in daily living, though some residents felt this could be improved. Care is personalised and mostly reflects residents' needs and preferences, with good support for health maintenance and nutrition. Residents reported being happy and described a pleasant atmosphere where staff respect their privacy and dignity. Medicines are managed safely and as prescribed, with regular safety checks covering fire safety and environmental standards. Infection control systems are suitable and protect against cross contamination risks.
