Rowans Residential Care Home

The home provides personal care to up to nine residents, some of whom are living with dementia. At inspection, eight people were using the service. Staff ensure people feel secure and protected from harm, with risks identified and managed carefully to keep residents safe. A relative expressed their satisfaction, saying, "We are overwhelmed with the kindness shown to [person's name]. It is just like a home from home." The service maintains adequate staffing levels to meet residents' needs and maintain their safety. Appropriate recruitment procedures are in place to ensure staff are suitable to work in the care home, and people are supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive ways.
