Rowan Lodge

Rowan Lodge provides accommodation and nursing care to 60 people across three floors. At the time of inspection, 47 people were living at the home. The service features a large garden with tables and chairs that residents regularly use.

The home had previously been rated as 'Requires improvement' in August 2016 due to inconsistencies in embedding improvements across staff practice. By May 2018, the provider had made necessary improvements in staff training, care planning involvement with people and families, consent procedures, and quality assurance systems. These changes had become sufficiently embedded to achieve an overall rating of 'Good'. The service has a registered manager.
