River Meadows

River Meadows provides residential care across three floors for 41 older people, including those with dementia. At inspection, 34 residents were living there. The home has systems in place to assess risks before providing care and support to residents.

However, inspectors found that in some cases risks were not sufficiently monitored or recorded to effectively reduce them. While residents received their prescribed medicines correctly, records documenting medicines administration practices required improvement to meet best standards. The home maintains adequate staffing levels to provide safe care, and healthcare professionals confirmed that staff are consistently available to support residents.
