People in Action - Barnfield

This service provides accommodation and personal care for up to five people with learning and physical disabilities, with 24-hour staff support. Risk management plans are in place to protect people both at home and in the community, and staff understand their responsibility to report health and wellbeing concerns. Infection control practices are well managed, and medicines are appropriately handled to keep people safe from unnecessary harm.

The service maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure safety, though some staff vacancies mean team members occasionally work extra hours. All staff receive induction and training to develop the appropriate knowledge and skills needed. Person-centred care plans support people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff enabling them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests.
