Burgess Care

Burgess Care is a residential care home providing specialist support for 20 people with learning disabilities or autism spectrum conditions across four houses in a rural location. The service also offers care in people's own homes. Staff work closely with residents, families and health professionals to ensure safe care, with strong safeguarding awareness and clear reporting procedures in place.

While staffing levels meet residents' needs, the service relies on agency staff and is actively recruiting permanent team members to build consistency.

The service promotes maximum choice and control for residents, using least restrictive practices and supporting decision-making in their best interests.

Medicines are managed appropriately, without excessive use to control behaviour.
